Copy Peal Book Vol 1 - 1754-1887

The book is dated 1840 and the original numbering implied the existance of a peal prior to 1724 (presumably the peal allegedly rung in January 1689/90). At some point later the peals were renumbered. Copy peal books were maintained as a back up to the core records in the illuminated peal book.
